As a result of the Sam Lawrence and Gary Marshall-Stevens collaborating on The Tropical Hibiscus Praside Experience in the Summer of 2022 Dance Centred and UNIT3 have been able to secure funding for an ambitious programme of bigger and bolder creative community activities under the banner of The Tropical Hibiscus Performance Extravaganza. Bringing together more than 20 creatives from across Cornwall and engaging with groups across the whole community this project seeks to raise awareness of the very real impact of flooding and rising sea levels through fun and exciting engagement activities. The project will run across the whole of July and culminate in a Zero carbon performance extravaganza at the Old Milk Factory in Lostwithiel.
